Jiyeon Bang debuted as a Kumho Artist in 2011. She graduated from Korea National University of Arts, and has since won several international competitions, including first prize in the Korea Music Foundation International Music Competition; first prize in the SRP/Moeck Solo Recorder Competition at the London International Festival of Early Music in 2023; third prize in the Yamanashi International Early Music Competition; and second prize in the Osaka International Music Competition.
