London based Americana singer-songwriter Dave Sutherland, grew up in Greenwich, with one of his very first gigs in a pub opposite Blackheath Halls.

With nudges towards the Country Music genre,he was awarded ‘UK Male Country Singer of the Year’ at The UK Country Music Awards 2024.

A UK Americana powerhouse with fingerstyle mastery and London charm, his music speaks of life, love and London – with the eye of an artist and the ear of a poet. His Grammywinning producer-backed album “Last Drop of Empty” earned critical acclaim, multiple Top 3 singles, and numerous award nominations.

With 30 years in music since his Bert Jansch-directed debut “Navigator,” Dave’s journey includes successful US tours and four acclaimed albums that established him among the UK Americana elite while captivating American audiences who wonder how his speaking voice transforms into his distinctive singing style.

From Belfast 1964, Jackie (Them) and Rod (The Wheels) embarked on global careers alongside legends like Lonnie Donegan, Gene Vincent, and Joe Cocker. Jackie penned songs for Status Quo, while Rod wrote for The Hollies and The Yardbirds. Their memoirs—”I Sideman” and “My Gap Life”—chronicle six decades of music evolution through Skiffle, Rock and Roll, Folk, Blues and Pop. Expect an entertaining set filled with songs and stories from their remarkable journey of over 60 years in the music business.
