Hall Hire
Built in 1895 thanks to the vision of William Webster and other local enthusiasts, Blackheath Halls is a Grade II listed building and part of the oldest surviving purpose built cultural complex in London, offering spaces to hire for performances, recordings, private events and rehearsals.

The Great Hall provides an impressive and remarkable setting for both performances, rehearsals and recordings alike as well as weddings and corporate events.
The ceiling contributes to some of the best acoustics in the UK for large scale orchestral works, regularly used for rehearsals and recordings by world class ensembles including English National Opera, Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

The Hearn Recital Room
Our more intimate hire space situated on the top floor of the building provides a warm and welcoming setting for smaller scale performances, rehearsals, recitals and weddings.
The space can be easily transformed to accommodate standard seated events, cabaret style occasions or cleared as a rehearsal space.
