Description of Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced conductor to develop the orchestra, building on its strong foundations and celebrating its ethos of striving for the highest artistic value whilst remaining inclusive and accessible. Orchestra members have the opportunity to get involved in four or five projects each year of varying lengths and themes. Recent projects have included a performance of Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4, presenting a family concert of film music with a narrator and audience participation and accompanying a production of Guys and Dolls.
