Paws and Padlocks - a newly commissioned children's opera for 2017

Blackheath Halls are thrilled to present a newly commissioned children's opera in celebration of the 5th year of this popular community opera programme.

Performances are 8 and 9 April at 2pm and 6pm on both days, The performance will last approximately 1 hour. Tickets are on sale here.

With a score by award-winning composer Kate Whitley (co-founder of the Multi-Story Orchestra) and a libretto by Sabrina Mahfouz. The Multi-Story Orchestra will be accompanying all performances under the musical director of their co-founder Christopher Stark.

The Story...

Two children mistakenly get locked in a zoo for the nights where they discover talking animals and dastardly plans afoot!
